Modeling boards

For modeling boards, similar to the modeling pastes, polyurethane and epoxy resins are used. The synthetic resins are casted to boards by densities between 500 kg/m³ and 1.200 kg/m³. This sheet material hence complements the supply of hard foams, wood and pastes. The densities are alike to those of hard foams. Towards Wood, modeling boards have a more homogenous surface.

Compared to pastes the plates are especially suitable for smaller components. In contrast to wood the modeling boards are available in greater thicknesses and therefore reduce the number of horizontal adhesive joints. Indeed the dimensions of the lengths and widths are limited. The price per liter is relative high.
